Beginner Wheel throwing Course (ages 16 and up)

Course information

We meet for six 2 hour classes for 5 sessions with a break after the 5th class to allow for work to be fired. Return two weeks later to glaze the items you made during the first 5 classes.  You will learn the basics of using the wheel, trimming thrown pieces, attaching handles, and glazing. Only two spaces are available so you get lots of individual instruction.

Next course begins on October 19 - book your spot below.

Five Day Hand Building Class ages 16 and UP

No previous experience with clay needed. We will meet from 9:30 to Noon, Monday - Friday, August 10 thru 14. You will return on August 26th to glaze your work.

Over the week you will learn about pinching, coiling, slab work, and scultping to create functional and decorative pieces that reflect your own style. Each day builds on the one before, giving you time to grow your skills, experiment, and enjoy the process. No pre-determined projects, you decide what you want to make.  All materials, tools, glazes and firing are included.

Mystery Mud Nights

Fun and Beginner Friendly - Ages 12 & Up. Perfect for friends, date nights, coworkers, and anyone who loves a little adventure. Under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

$50 per person

Step into the studio, take a breath, and let the fates decide what you’re making. In these playful, low‑pressure classes, the project is a mystery until class begins. The first person through the studio door draws the night's creation from the Mystery Jar - a mug, a vase, a coil pot, a sculpted creature, a luminary, or something seasonal— but it will always be fun.  Scroll down to book your seat.

Muddy Sundays

Meet on the first Sunday of each month at 2 pm to create your own masterpiece.
